Fun & Unique

This book is a perfect middle grade read for all kids, but as a mother of young boys I especially enjoyed reading it with my boys!
And it's a SUPER fun book to read in March for St Patrick's Day!
Zeke learns the importance of family, how to believe in himself, to do hard things, and that people, like anything, aren't always what they seem. And sometimes it's the hardest choices that bring the most reward, but the knowledge & experiences gained along the way are priceless.

Story
Powerful plant mage and heir-apparent to the Duchy of Eleusion, Penny Barclay lives each day under two strict rules: Don't shame the family's magical heritage, and don't allow any man to turn her head. While she knows her mother's restrictive rules come from a place of love, Penny doesn't always agree on how they should be followed—particularly with a rebellion threatening their way of life. The rebels' goal? For all magic wielders to be enslaved under those who have not received such a gift from the Goddess.

I LOVE this story, SO much!
It keeps me guessing throughout, and every time I think I know what's going to happen, the story twists into a fun new direction!
And the narrator is amazing, so fun to listen to!

Story
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

Inspiring & thought provocing, The Midnight Library addresses the poignant idea of regret over life's decisions and wondering what life would have been like if we'd just chosen differently. And realizing that the life we have chosen can be just as full & regret free as we want, we just have to do something about it!
Enlightening, I love it!

A story that comes full circle.

I love how this story sets you on the edge of your seat from the first book, keeps you there throughout, and brings it all back around full circle by the end. So beautiful, so imaginative, so creative, it's just a masterful piece of art in form of the written word.

An interested twist on the Peter Pan story, this final book in the trilogy tied up all the lose ends & delivered it wrapped in red bow on a silver platter. Fitting Neverland's history into the mix, along with fae legends & family squabbles, the ending was pleasing, if not a little expected.
