This is a tough read. And necessary. For anyone confused about why rape is wrong or how it differs from sex, this may help. For those who have been sexually assaulted, their loved ones, and others affected by the assaults, this is so helpful.
Her victim statement is so powerful, so on point, realistic and optimistic. It should be read by everyone. It is better understood after reading this book.
I started reading this because the college I work at has it as a book club read. I was lucky to borrow the audiobook from Hoopladigital. I didn't get it read in time, so I bought the ebook and audiobook.
It was a wise decision to buy this, and I know I'll read it again.
