I loved this book and Brandi’s candid and deep story about her life so far. She shares her thoughts, feelings, and intuitions- and is relatable on every level. My heart is so much bigger after hearing this story.

I may be in the minority here, but this slow burn friends-to-lovers story left me disappointed overall. The characters were great - I loved both the hero and heroine and their supporting friends and family - but the tension didn't feel very tense. The build-up didn't really build. I love Lauren Blakely books and will keep buying her romance novels, but sadly this one wasn't a sure thing.
Of course, I have to say Andi Arndt and Sebastian York were awesome as always.

The entirety of this short story was so that the main character could get kissed by her wannabe boyfriend who happens to be a god. Perhaps it was just me, but the word 'god' was said so often and the narrator emphasized it so much, that by the end of the book I was rolling my eyes every time I heard it. The short 80-minute listen had quite a lot of action but not much in terms of character development. (Perhaps you have to have read the first book for all of that?)

Whiny Main Character and Predictable Story Line

I was not a fan of this story. The heroine whined way too much and was not at all relatable. The narration by Edwin Jones was acceptable - however, a dual narration would have been better. Finally, as soon as all of the characters were introduced, it was easy to see whom they would all end up with in the end.

This book will make you smile. Karina Halle has written a terrific slow burn story about two friends who fall for one another. Although the description of the book makes it sound done again and again, Karina makes it fresh and adorable with her deep and loveable characters. The narration was done well by both, although Cornell Collins's sexy British accent does struggle at times to fill in the American female voices. Jo Raylan is perfect! She can convey the nervousness, silliness, joy, pain, and the rest of the spectrum of emotions -so well- it is amazing to hear.
This book is worth your credit!

I thought the setup could have given way to a much better sex-scepade than what was given; 11 guys and 1 female? What was delivered was just OK.

While this book was a quick 30-minute listen, it was packed full of hot scenes that left me wanting to hear more. I was surprised at how well it was set up and presented to the listener, and how well a story with a plot was given as well. The voice of the narrator was odd during the reading parts, but she did well during the more sultry scenes.

Although this was a short listen that was less than two hours, I didn't have time to grasp the purpose of the story at all. From the waiting at McDonalds for her next meal to walk in, to the awful rhyming ghost - It was teenage angst wrapped up in a vampire shell. It's a different kind of vampire tale, alright - and not a good one.

Not really a Bad Boy Romance at all

First of all, I must say that I am a fan of Sky Corgan's books, but this one was 'off'. First of all, it's advertised as a "Bad Boy Romance" where the BULLY of the book actually only exists in memories. Furthermore, this is WAY too Young Adult for my tastes. We're in the mind of a young college freshman's mind; new to parties and drinking - one obsessed with boys and who uses the word 'crush'. There were times I was rolling my eyes so hard that I wanted to turn it off. Sorry, Sky - you missed the mark on this one,

Thrust Under is an enjoyable 4.5 hour listen where two people who should be at odds with each other turn out to be amazingly compatible. The author did a great job of making the enemies-become-lovers trope believable in this case. Meghan Kelly did a good job narrating the book and did not deter from my enjoyment at all. I would have loved for this to be more steamy, but all in all, I can't complain. A solid 4 stars.
