Horrible, immature, confusing excuse of a book

This should be a book in college for professors to use as, “what not to do in a novel”.
The attraction between the two leads is shoved down your throat while the storyline suffers. Felt like a middle school girl wrote this.
This book is trash.

Refreshing and witty. Narrators on point with various characters. Could’ve skipped the sexual scenes and been much better.

I’m not sure what happened with this fourth book, but it was bad. I loved the first three and thought I’d found a new series. I tried but failed to get into this one. Too much stimuli without tie up. I put this down several times and tried to start fresh but literally lost faith in even caring. Whole half of book was introduction to half a dozen possible characters, several fires, drugs, and…repeat. Do not waste time on this book.

This was best book yet! The characters have been built in books 1 & 2, which helped this book rock. This book flowed more for me because it was all based around the killings and detective work. We know the characters and now can dive into the crime cases. We’ll done

If it weren’t for Zachary Webber’s readings I would have stopped this book in the first chapter. CJ Bloom’s narrative was painful to listen to. I couldn’t tell when the character was thinking or talking. She yelled and spoke in non relative tones to the story. I actually skipped through some parts out of frustration.

Repeat listen!

Loved the dark makings of Fenix, aka "Mercy" aka "Nix". The book is wonderful...Debra Anastasia does an exceptional job cranking up this characters appeal. Zachary Webber is spectacular as always with capturing Mercy's tone and mannerism. I missed the book and Mercy after finishing. I have listened to this book more than once and have no doubt, I will many more times in the future.

Thank GOD, I can go back and listen to this book...because I miss the story and its character connections, as soon as I finished. This book is outstanding. Its emotionally charged and includes every human emotion possible; I laughed out loud, blushed, raged with anger, went through every stage of grief. I love Tag and Millie. Zachary Webber was exceptional as usual. Amy Harmon has moved to my favorite author after listening to The Song of David. The strong connection to the characters had me stopping and listening to songs mentioned...which puts the reader/me into the story even more.
It's taken me two days to even sit down to write this review because I am still emotional. Beautiful story! Beautiful characters! I laughed out loud throughout first part of story but also cried for ten chapters straight. I was NOT ready for the story to end. I have already listened to the book again. This book is a diamond.

Worst narrator I have ever tried to listen too!

I feel bad...this could have possibly been a great book, had I have read it myself. Fingernails down a chalkboard response for me, every time the narrator spoke. I had this 8 months before I finished it. I only did that out of complete boredom in car sometimes. I could only take so much of the narrators voice before shutting it off each time. Will make note and NEVER buy book narrated by Tracy Marks again!

I am in desperation for a good book series, that is going to be my excuse for even purchasing this book! In the first book, Drantos, the repetition and wimpy lead female character made it rough to get through. BUT the story has so much potential to be great with all the different breeds...I keep holding out thinking it will get better. This second book was horrid! I know story's have villains/characters people "love to hate" but there was nothing about the lead female in this book that is remotely appealing. She is neither funny or likable AT ALL. The constant bitching was intolerable. The build up for this character in first book wasn't even appealing. Feel like the author wanted the readers to really like this character but she dropped the ball delivering her. This lead lady would have been better off dying in plane crash at beginning of book!
The best thing about this book was the narrator, Savannah Richards.
