I was just happy to hear about the characters again. But the compelling story, the interesting characters and the main duo's character evolution was a lovely bonus.

J'ai commencé ce livre avec un esprit ouvert et curieux. Ok, Bruce, qu'as tu a me raconter ?

I picked this up because of tje narrator. But the first paragraph, the way it is phrased, how much it tells in such few words, convinced me i was going to thoroughly this story. It didn't disappoint.

Did the plot blow me away? No. But I'm not gonna pretend I was listening for that. The relationships between the characters are cute. The story's nice. It's a comfort read. It's good.
Teddy Hamilton is just icing on the cake. 😊

I had reservations when I picked this up. Not about the quality, but about whether the plot lines would be my cup of tea. Diplomacy? Space Treaties? M'kay. Turned out, it was a pleasant universe change for me. The rest was delightful. 😊

If you've listened to the show, or are fan of any other true crime podcasts, you've probably heard of most people. Here, you'll get to hear a more in depth reflection on what common patterns can be found, on what things mean when looked at through a societal lens.
If you are a newbie true crime listener? Don't worry. You won't be left stranded. The cases and names referred to will be explained.

Both young men are struggling with legitimate struggles and trauma. I liked how that was portrayed through their perspectives.
The only thing that I didn't really enjoy was that it seems both readers didn't get to work together, maybe? So both main characters have different voices for each of them. It threw me off a bit at first. They sound like different people when the readers/pov switch. Teddy and Sarina got me here. But I enjoyed discovering Stephen's voice.

Okay. So. Peace Talks felt like a first part of this book. This REALLY brings into 9lay everything that has been building in the previous and for a couple of decades of novels. And. Plot twist, it is a big showdown, but also.... just the beginning.

I haven't digested it all yet, but it might have shot up to my favorite of the series in one go. The bonus short at the end was a very tearful cherry on top.

I got this on a recommendation from a friend, as we were talking about PR games and spinning a story. I went in not knowing anything else. I've been recommending all of my friends do the same. The moment when it dawned on me what it would be was so nice!

This book is hilarious. The characters are sassy and the situations, anchored in real history, bring satire to a whole new level.
Yes. It is predictable. It's a romance. So what? It's like you picked up your favorite AU fanfic, but the author had the time to fully flesh out the entire cast, to research backgrounds and facts and build sub plots.
It didn't end where I thought it would.
The work speaks of the author's love for literature.

There are so many moments that made me think, or quoted that read so very true, that I went and bought the actual book, so I can go find them and highlight them.
