Story
Headmaster Luke Lawson is committed to saving his boarding school before a cash crisis sinks it. He'll do anything to keep it afloat, even if that means accepting help from the man who broke his heart at uni. Nathan's offer to teach for free could be a blessing as long as Luke can harden his bruised heart. That's tough when they'll need to share living quarters and have a history of hook-ups. But Luke knows being compatible in bed isn't enough to build trust. It can't be when Nathan has always left him before morning.

I have been Simon Feximal's companion, assistant, and chronicler for 20 years now, and during that time my Casebooks of Feximal the Ghost-Hunter have spread the reputation of this most accomplished of ghost-hunters far and wide. Here is how my association with Feximal came about. I dare say it may not be quite what you expect.

Sexy m/m romance with a supernatural theme!
Reviewed: 03-07-19
Fascinating story! Loved everything about it ( and I'm not a big ghost story person so that says a lot). The audiobook narration is excellent, and I'll be looking for more from narrator Gary Furlong. My favorite case was the story about the butterflies. Would have made a great Hitchcock tale too! Highly recommend this if you are looking for a supernatural tale complete with an m/m romance. Not something I'll soon forget!

For Lola it's too intense and she is the one who has to sort out what she really wants - Oliver is all in from the word go. Excellent narrators make the story a treat!

Country living is the focus in this hist rom
Reviewed: 08-13-18
I enjoyed this English countryside romance though sometimes Thea was so uptight! It took her a long time to see what Gideon was offering. In her defense though, she has no one to protect her from village gossip and her reputation is important for her livelihood. There is a lot of back and forth and just when you think they can move forward something else gets in the way. Fortunately the ending and epilogue make the wait worthwhile. Audiobook narration by Nicholas Boulton is excellent, I've yet to hear a character and voice he can't master. 3.5 stars for the story ( I did really like Gideon), 4.5 stars for the narration.

For reasons of his own, Stephen Hampton, Lord Summerdale, is determined to learn the truth behind the tangled tale of Helen's ruin. There is nothing he abhors so much as scandal - nothing he prizes so well as discretion - and so he is shocked to find that he cannot help but admire her. But how can she trust a man so steeped in the culture of high society, who conceals so much? And how can he, so devoted to the appearance of propriety, ever love a fallen lady?

Heartbreaking at times, but thoroughly enjoyable!
Reviewed: 07-10-18
Nicholas Boulton is superb (as always) narrating this historical romance set in a small town with Helen, 'ruined' for calling off an engagement to a previous suitor who was abusive to her. Shunned by her family, she lives a quiet life in Bartle until Lord Stephen Summerdale comes calling, a man looking to invest with her ex, but wondering about the scandal. Heartbreaking at times, yet the characters have the resilience to see things through. Both Helen and Stephen have their faults, and there are reasons behind their behaviours that make them all too human. And yet still a sweet love story with a happy ending. I highly recommend it.

Delightful historical romance!
Reviewed: 07-09-18
Nicholas Boulton does this story proud with his talent at narrating different accents (assorted English men and women, the American hero Mason and Frenchwoman Marie-Anne), providing a smooth listening experience. The story itself is perfectly delightful - a previously shunned woman now respectable due to her best friend Helen marrying Lord Summerdale (that romance being told in A Fallen Lady) helps three young woman navigate their love lives while falling in love with a man who has his own secrets. There are some interesting twists and turns, some steamy sex scenes and lots of laughs as all works out for the best in the end. Highly recommended!

Emotional and heartfelt new adult romance
Reviewed: 10-20-17
Bridger and Scarlet have seen their share of hard times in their lives, and don't expect to find love or happiness while concentrating on their studies. But they do, and they also find a person to confide in, and someone who understands that what's on the surface can hide a lot of scars. It's an engaging and emotional romance, with some tough subjects (child abuse, drug addition, parental abandonment). The narration is good, the voices are the appropriate age for the characters. I found the male narrator not quite as adept as the female at performing opposite sex voices, but overall it's a good listen and they do a great job with the tough subject matter.

Story
Laura Kinsale presents a second novel by talented new author Elizabeth Kingston. Fair, Bright, and Terrible is the riveting companion to The King's Man. Wales is conquered, and Eluned has lost everything: her country, her husband, her hope. All that remains is vengeance, and she will stop at nothing to have it. When Robert de Lascaux is asked to marry the woman he has loved for eighteen years, he never hesitates. No wealth has ever mattered to him as much as Eluned has.

A second chance romance for the ages
Reviewed: 09-04-17
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would definitely recommend this audiobook for someone who enjoys historical romances outside of the normal regency era. The narration by Nicholas Boulton is spot on.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved the hero and heroine equally. Elunid is a complex woman who is flawed but there are reasons for it that make it easy for the listener to understand her choices. Robert de Lascaux is a nice guy hero in a world where nice guys rarely win.
Which character – as performed by Nicholas Boulton – was your favorite?
I can't choose - I love the way he narrates all the characters!
Any additional comments?
I hope to listen to more set in this fascinating medieval world.

Story
Ash Winters is barely holding on, near drowning in his own darkness and fear. He lives a gray shadow of a life, sullen and cynical, unable to remember hope or happiness - much less the distant, fading glitterball of love. It has to be a sick joke of the universe that he finds himself hooked up with good-humored Essex boy Darian Taylor, a wannabe model in a sparkly jacket and a fake tan. Darian may not be an intellectual giant, but he's hysterically funny, and he's got the courage to challenge Ash to live again.

What made the experience of listening to Glitterland the most enjoyable?
The narration was superb.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked the differences between Darian and Ash, and how well they complemented each other once Ash was willing to let Darian in.
Have you listened to any of Nicholas Boulton’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This was my first performance by Nicholas Boulton, and I will definitely look for more.
Any additional comments?
Excellent emotional story with lots of dry british humour for laugh out loud moments. A sweet and sexy romance too.
