I really liked the story because the author comes to realize that even though he thought he was living his authentic self and doing the work, he had to work harder than ever to discover his truth and he shares that well. He slid right down the rabbit hole which turned out to be a hellish slippery slope on pain meds. I’m so happy he was able to forge his way out of this specific addiction by finally finding the help he so desperately sought.

For those of us who grew up with emotionally immature parents, we can feel the impact of this book to our core. Gibson offers many answers in how to move forward. Impactful and constructive this book is a how to guide for healing.
