Story
Everywhere we turn, we hear negative financial news - that the American Dream is dead or that the little man can’t get ahead. Our culture feeds us the lie that it’s impossible to become a millionaire in America today, but it’s time you heard the truth. In his newest book, Everyday Millionaires: How Ordinary People Built Extraordinary Wealth - and How You Can Too, Chris Hogan destroys millionaire myths that are keeping everyday people from achieving financial independence.

Hoped for more

I was hoping this would provide more of a detailed analysis of millionaires, similar to The Millionaire Next Door, but it is light on analysis and heavy on anecdotes. You can get most the relevant topics of this book by listening to one of the author’s interviews or The Millionaire hour on Dave Ramsey’s podcast/radio show.

Story
In The Truth Machine, Michael J. Casey and Paul Vigna demystify the blockchain and explain why it can restore personal control over our data, assets, and identities; grant billions of excluded people access to the global economy; and shift the balance of power to revive society’s faith in itself. They reveal the disruption it promises for industries including finance, tech, legal, and shipping.

Decent blockchain book

This a was a decent follow up book to the authors previous blockchain book. The authors are clearly Bitcoin Maximalists so they repeatedly point to Bitcoin Lightning Network as a solution for all. Unfortunately, the authors couldn’t stop bringing up politics and their anti-Trump leanings.
