While I still enjoyed this book, the timeline seemed all over the place concerning other characters whose stories were supposed to be in the prior book. I understand the author split the stories into two novels, focusing on certain characters in each; however after 30 hours into this one, we got a few random chapters from the POV of characters in the prior book. It made things very confusing when we jumped back into their stories out of nowhere.

The Journeyman series continues to amaze me. Golden Czermak has such an amazing way of spinning a fantastic tale. His words take me into a different world that I never want to leave.

Wen Ross' narration is just as wonderful as his sultry and sexy voice brings the characters to life. Each scene is clearly painted in my mind as he plays out each chapter.

Hear the Crickets is the first book I've ready by author BJ Sheldon, but it certainly won't be the last. With an exciting take on the world of angels, BJ pulled me into this world quickly and didn't let me go until the final word was written. The story surrounds Skyy, a woman who can't die. After centuries of living a humdrum, quiet life of seclusion, a quick turn of events leads her on a quest that becomes more than she would ever know. Secrets to her past are unlocked as she fights an enemy she never knew she had. With a band of friends and a world she never knew existed, can Skyy and her friends overcome... Or will the one thing she has that can save the world turn out to be the item that ends her forever.

I loved this book from the start and wasn't ready for it to end... And the last words of this book made me ready for book two!

The narrator, Emily Durante, did an excellent job with this book and brought the characters to life. I hope that she will be on board with the next.

I absolutely loved this story! It was a such a great twist on another fable we grew up with as children. As Mina continues on her quests, she finds herself with a loss that is almost unbearable. Making a decision to save a loved one, Mina defies Jared's wishes a strikes off on her own. Full of adventure and excitement, Mina only thinks she's had some hard quests to fulfill; this one may cost her more than she ever dreamed.

I really enjoyed this story by the wonderful Amy Bartol! Cricket's story is one like I have never read before and Amy's ability to create this whole world is nothing short of amazing. I was drawn in from the first chapter and enjoyed all of the adventure and romance that followed.
