It didn't pull me in enough to want to listen to the sequels. This book became very forgettable for me, because I was hoping to get caught up in a new series.

Wil Wheaton did a good job on his narration. This story didn't move me enough to even want to invest anymore time this series. I found myself checking the chapter timer to see how much longer to go.This story was lacking all the hills and valleys, and seemed to be built on a sequel driven cliffhanger. The ending of the story was the best part, but predictable. This story is okay. If you are just starting to explore John Scalzi work start with Old Man's War. That story has a primary character driving the story. There is no need to have character multitasking skills ,with the hope that the story's characters will converge fluidly at the end.
