Story
1820s California, in a bygone era of sprawling haciendas and haughty caballeros, suffers beneath the whip of oppression. Missions are pillaged, native peasants are abused, and innocent men and women are persecuted by the corrupt governor and his army. But a champion of freedom rides the highways. His identity hidden behind a mask, the laughing outlaw Zorro defies the tyrant’s might. A deadly marksman and a demon swordsman, his flashing blade strikes down those who exploit the poor and oppressed.

loved Zorro since before I had known of any other Superhero. Not completely alike to the movies, but it is good in its own way and I will always live Zorro!

Greatest Detective Novel
Reviewed: 01-10-21
Obviously Kenneth Branagh, a distinguished British actor who played in the best version of Hamlet and Gilderoy Lockhart in my personal favorite Harry Potter novel, gave an amazing performance in both the movie and the reading of Murder on the Orient Express. So I will say that if you have yet to read the book or watch either of the movies, then this is a good start.

Story
James Crowley met his mortal end in a hail of gunfire. Now, he finds himself in purgatory, serving the White Throne to avoid falling to hell. Not quite undead, though not alive either, the best he can hope for is to work off his servitude and fade away. His not-so-sacred duty as a Hand of God? Use his new abilities to hunt down demonic beings that have infiltrated the mortal realm. This time, the White Throne has sent him to the middle of nowhere: a Western town called Dead Acre with a saloon, a moldy church, and little else worth talking about. There isn’t even a sheriff.

Where can I get a copy?!
Reviewed: 11-30-20
I'm only on Chapter 5, but I am already in love with this book. my only discrepancy is that I can't find a copy ANYWHERE. It only pops up on Audible but not a Google search. The guy voicing the main character, sorry sir my mind is blanking, was, obviously, amazing as Arthur Morgan so when I heard he was narrating I gave it a shot and instantly got hooked. I CANNOT stop listening its so good! The performance is excellent as is the story. This is definitely becoming one of my favorite stories of all time.
