This book was amazing. I laughed, I cried and I had all the feels as I listened. Hilarie does an amazing job speaking her truth and sharing the joys and devastations of her life. Listening to this makes me want to go and live on a farm and I find myself smiling at the idea.

Story
From the New York Times best-selling authors of America's First Daughter comes the epic story of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton - a revolutionary woman who, like her new nation, struggled to define herself in the wake of war, betrayal, and tragedy. In this haunting, moving, and beautifully written book, Dray and Kamoie used thousands of letters and original sources to tell Eliza's story as it's never been told before - not just as the wronged wife at the center of a political sex scandal but also as a founding mother who shaped an American legacy in her own right.

I absolutely adored this book. The rich history and viewpoint of Eliza was more than I could have hoped for in a historical novel. The way the author’s filled in the gaps so seamlessly kept me listening and wanting more. I listen in my car on an 2 hr commute to and from work and this novel made my drive far more bearable.
