One or two good nuggets in the book but you're not missing anything by not reading.

How to Be an Imperfectionist: The New Way to Self-Acceptance, Fearless Living, and Freedom from Perfectionism

Story
Perfectionism is a naturally limiting mindset. For example, kids are taught to color inside the lines, and any color outside the lines is considered a mistake that must be corrected. Imperfectionism frees us to live outside the lines, where possibilities are infinite, mistakes are allowed, and self-judgment is minimal.

Cheugey Boomer
Reviewed: 07-27-23
I don’t know if cheugey boomer is a thing but that’s the best way I can describe the examples and narration of the book. If you don’t understand what I mean by cheugey boomer, you’ll probably like the audiobook. For another reference point, the author’s Wikipedia page says he lives near Disney World in Orlando, FL. Again, if you read that and think “so what?”, you’ll probably like the book. But if you’re alarmed by a grown adult who 1) chooses to live in Orlando and 2) chooses to associate where they live with Disney World, you’ll hate the examples and reading of this audiobook as much as I did.

A book by a Karen, narrated by a Karen.
Reviewed: 06-28-23
This book is probably relevant to you if you’re a Karen. If you’re a more normal, less reactive, less type A person, you won’t learn anything here.

I’m not a mathematician, but I also don’t hate math, and the book was so hard to listen to and keep interest in that I gave up a couple chapters in.

Good book. Bad audiobook.
Reviewed: 09-01-22
The information in the book is nuanced and references many charts and graphs. It's impossible to fully benefit from the book by listening to it. It shouldn't even be available as an audiobook. I want my credit back and would like a physical copy instead.
