The plot was fine, but predictable. The book describes a lot of detail diving, so probably a fun read for those into diving but quit boring for me who never have gone diving. 2/5 stars

I didn’t like it at all. Tried and restarted several times before I got the hang of this one (avid listener) Back and forth, to many names and a complete and highly unlikely story.

Story
Everyone is hiding a secret. One of them is murder. The book club was her idea, of course. It was her way into our group. A chance to get close. I knew from the day she arrived that she couldn't be trusted. And I was right. Alice didn't come to the village for peace and quiet. She came for revenge. A deliciously addictive psychological thriller about a book club that unravels dark and scandalous secrets between one circle of neighbours.

A bit boring and confusing
Reviewed: 04-25-23
I loved the first book by the auther, Lit to me, But this was boring. The story wasn't intriguing, it was just meeh .The story in it self was unorganized, jumped form one point of view to the next withouth context. And the fact that the character was in their 30-40's was not represented in the narrator. They should have picked a younger one.

I love Harlan Coben! And this book was excellent, as most of his work. It was interesting form the start, twist and turns, never a doll moment. Finished the audiobook in 3 days. And Steven Weber - such a wonderful narrator!
10/10 would recommend!

The story was long and kind of boring. There was small flashback about something that happened in the past, and then it was all reviled in the last 20 min and it was just weird, not exiting.
