Story
In the spring of 2020, Lara’s three daughters return to the family's orchard in Northern Michigan. While picking cherries, they beg their mother to tell them the story of Peter Duke, a famous actor with whom she shared both a stage and a romance years before at a theater company called Tom Lake. As Lara recalls the past, her daughters examine their own lives and relationship with their mother, and are forced to reconsider the world and everything they thought they knew.

Performance was perfect

If Meryl Streep could perform every audiobook, I would listen to them all. Beautiful story about life and love and she performed it perfectly. I honestly did not want the book to end and cried happy tears at the end.

Story
Sam and Sadie—two college friends, often in love, but never lovers—become creative partners in a dazzling and intricately imagined world of video game design, where success brings them fame, joy, tragedy, duplicity, and, ultimately, a kind of immortality. It is a love story, but not one you have heard before.

Great Character Development and Story telling

It was not what I expected based on the description and I was hesitant based on mixed reviews but I LOVED it. I could not stop listening to this book due to the narrators and the gripping real-life story. Very vivid description of imagery. It was a coming-of-age story that I related to heavily as a mid-twenty-year-old.

Story
Jess needs a fresh start. She’s broke and alone, and she’s just left her job under less than ideal circumstances. Her half-brother Ben didn’t sound thrilled when she asked if she could crash with him for a bit, but he didn’t say no, and surely everything will look better from Paris. Only when she shows up – to find a very nice apartment, could Ben really have afforded this? – he’s not there.

Story
Nina Dean is not especially bothered that she's single. She owns her own apartment, she's about to publish her second book, she has a great relationship with her ex-boyfriend, and enough friends to keep her social calendar full and her hangovers plentiful. And when she downloads a dating app, she does the seemingly impossible: She meets a great guy on her first date. Max is handsome and built like a lumberjack; he has floppy blond hair and a stable job. But more surprising than anything else, Nina and Max have chemistry.

Good Narrator and Relatable Story

Great narrator. Fun and Relatable story to women over 20+ like many dolly alderton books. The endings was not the best but it did wrap off the story.
