A lot of wasted potential
Reviewed: 05-19-18
I really wanted to like this series more than I actually did. Sure fine, some things are too convenient or coincidental, who cares, its fiction, you have to tell a story. But I just feel like any time something bad happened, it would just get nicely wrapped up. Plot lines that could have interesting consequences and developments just resolve themselves. Things that are set-up as major plot elements are dropped and never matter again. Every hard decision ends up with him getting the best of both outcomes.
There are a lot of things to like and I've spent credits on way worse books, but I just feel like this series should have been better than it ended up being.
