I had high hopes for this book but found it so dull I probably won’t finish the last 3 hours unless there’s nothing better to listen to, which means it’s unlikely that I’ll ever finish it. I’ve listened to many free books that were far, far better. I prefer long stories and usually don’t want them to end but this one is sinfully boring and goes on and on.

While this is a story about unspeakable tragedy, it’s still one I’d describe as light, something to read beside the pool on a summer day.

The narrator does a fantastic job, seems like multiple people are reading for the different characters. Light hearted & funny, focused on the bonds of female friendships.
