He suspects that Victor is controlling his victims, somehow coaxing them into a suggestive trance.

I really enjoyed this book. Initially I didn't think I would because of what seemed to be excessive descriptions of the early days of Surrender. But once that was over the book picked up the pace and really held my attention. The interactions between Lucas, LT, & Mike are absolutely addictive. Can wait until the next adventures of these three.
