Story
To the wider world, Al Pacino exploded onto the scene like a supernova. He landed his first leading role, in The Panic in Needle Park, in 1971, and by 1975, he had starred in four movies—The Godfather and The Godfather Part II, Serpico, and Dog Day Afternoon—that were not just successes but landmarks in the history of film. Those performances became legendary and changed his life forever. Not since Marlon Brando and James Dean in the late 1950s had an actor landed in the culture with such force.

In the best-selling tradition of Henry Bushkin's Johnny Carson comes The Way It Was: My Life with Frank Sinatra, a candid and eye-opening inside look at the final decades of Sinatra's life, told by his long-time manager and friend, Eliot Weisman. Eliot Weisman worked with Frank Sinatra from 1975 up until Sinatra's death in 1998 and became one of the singer's most trusted confidants and advisers. In this book, Weisman tells the story of the final years of the iconic entertainer from within his exclusive inner circle.

Story
Focusing for the first time on why attorney general Robert F. Kennedy wasn’t killed in 1963 instead of on why President John F. Kennedy was, Mark Shaw offers a stunning and provocative assassination theory that leads directly to the family patriarch, Joseph P. Kennedy. Mining fresh information and more than 40 new interviews, Shaw weaves a spellbinding narrative involving Mafia don Carlos Marcello; Jack Ruby (Lee Harvey Oswald’s killer); Ruby’s attorney, Melvin Belli; and, ultimately, the Kennedy brothers and their father.

Every emotion will be felt reading this book

Living in neighboring county of where Dr. Anderson spent most of adult life practicing medicine I remember so many of his stories he speaks about in his book. I appreciate his openness of the medical field as I have worked it for over 30 years myself.
The stories about his patients and experiencing where they would be spending an eternity brought tears of joy and then could break my heart depending on where they would spend eternity. It’s encouraging to many to read about his childhood and the tragedy that his family and to see its all about the choice we make in life on how we view and handles things.
Blessings to his wife for standing her ground as a Christian and continuing to pray for him. His honesty from falling away from God and coming back and serving God he has touched the lives of thousands. Excellent book and I would recommend for all to read.

I loved the honesty Rachel uses in writing this book. This is the first book of hers I have read and I was very impressed. The honesty gets a 5 star grade. So many times people try to sugar coat things. We are all humans, we all make mistakes and hopefully learn to do better from it. This book brought many a smiles and outburst laughter, then tugged at my heart hearing the adoption story. Working with CASA for 12 years she brought the truth out about children in foster homes, working with DCS and Child Protection Services, social workers. It’s heart breaking. May God bless her and family with many blessings for all they are doing for others.

I’ve already read about mental illness and this book gave me new insight and knowledge. It breaks my heart that so many people could be out there just “misdiagnosed”. I appreciate her sharing her story and promoting what happened to her. In turn she is saving the lives of many.
