Story
Seventeen-year-old Victoria Nash runs the household on her family’s peach farm in the small ranch town of Iola, Colorado—the sole surviving female in a family of troubled men. Wilson Moon is a young drifter with a mysterious past, displaced from his tribal land and determined to live as he chooses. Victoria encounters Wil by chance on a street corner, a meeting that profoundly alters both of their young lives, unknowingly igniting as much passion as danger. When tragedy strikes, Victoria leaves the only life she has ever known.

Story
Margaret, Rose, Jane, and Fran had a good thing going: meet every week in the dusty quiet of their peaceful chapel and knit prayer shawls. No muss, just ministry. That is, until their pastor boots them out of the church in his last-ditch effort to revive the dwindling congregation. Uptight Margaret isn’t having it. Knitting prayer shawls at the mall where people can watch is the most ridiculous idea she’s ever heard of, and she’s heard plenty.

I was a young 8-10 year old girl. Things in this story were such a revelation of truth. My parents guarded me from knowing. I’m grateful for this knowledge

Jill and Derick knew a normal life wasn’t possible for them. As a star on the popular TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, Jill grew up in front of viewers who were fascinated by her family’s way of life. She was the responsible, second daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle’s nineteen kids; always with a baby on her hip and happy to wear the modest ankle-length dresses with throat-high necklines.

A book for our world

This was a pleasant surprise to me. In the world we live in today we must never forget what happened in Nazi concentration camps. These events are true. We must know that this could happen again if we don’t protect our democracy. These people were shocked that it was happening to them. We never think it could be us. Living out our simple quiet lives. We must be aware that it could happen
