Story
Luka isn't dead. He's not beyond saving. Tess knows because she saw him with her own eyes. After what she saw, she's sure of one thing: If they don't rescue him soon, Luka won't be Luka anymore. If only she could convince the other members of the hub. They're not sure Tess saw what she claims she saw. And they're preoccupied by the fact that their kind is being systematically eradicated. Answers lie in an ancient prophecy, one that revolves around a 17-year-old girl who never asked for any of this.

should have been an escape
Reviewed: 06-30-19
This was very hard to finish. It really should have been an audible escape white the other 2 books. I read that with you and I was expecting a lot of action in this and not a lot of teenage angustine we women smoldering romance boy was I Mistaken. I think you decide been included as audible escape like the other 2 volumes I would have given a glowing review but says it wasn't audible escape I expected it to be a lot less romance and really focus on the story line which was good but in evolved a lot of searching to get past the teenage anks to romance the 3 way love triangle on and I'll let stupid stuff.
As an audible escape I with their gave it a glowing review a little about the other volumes. But as it was not the story got lost in the romance in the teenage angst and the main character did not grow she is still making the same mistakes same angst in the beginning and the end that was disappointment. The background story though was really good.
The narration is what saves the reader did a very good job I don't wear the different characters but feeling the effects of a was going on Bravo

Hell is empty. The Devil is here. There is no road so long and winding as the one that leads you to the finish line. Every bend is meant to test you, every junction meant to bring you closer to that place where love and sacrifice meet. To that place in the valley where the sun doesn’t quite reach. Infernal is the long-anticipated fourth installment in The Marked saga.

I'm glad I wanna hit and took the chance and got this book. It was absolutely wonderful. The story was thorough and enthralling and will narrated. I'm really hoping that the author decides to do a sequel there has to be more that can happen because this world she created was so complex and interesting.

Children were being murdered— and all had the same odd markings that mysteriously appeared on her own skin….Since then, she's learned to read, she's learned to fight and she's become one of the vaunted Hawks who patrol and police the City of Elantra. Alongside the winged Aerians and the immortal Barrani, she's made a place for herself, far from the mean streets of her birth.

I Really thought I was going to like this book I was disappointed in some respects. Yeah the main character not only lacked depth but she didn't grow throughout the whole book she was the same irresponsible irreverent insecure child. I may just be too used to reading heroines that are strong and they learn from their mistakes and the tragedies this one just didn't to me. I can't say it was a waste of a credit but I won't be reading any more in the series. The one positive really what gave it the most stars was the narrator she brought life to sometimes very dead words and she bought what little depth there was to the characters.

Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

3 books, 1 wonderful read!
Reviewed: 11-08-18
This is a review of the entire series. I was surprisingly overjoyed to find a relatively new author with a full engaging style. NKJ has the ability to transfer you to a world of her own creation with hints and shadows of your own world to forward your understanding and experience. Add to this a narrator with an effective voice with the correct meter to vocalize change and action in wondrous concert with the spoken word. A sumptuous experience.

Great book, great narration
Reviewed: 09-01-18
This was my 3rd audio book. The first was ok, the second one I discovered the effect of bad narration. I like reading Octavia so it was no surprise that I liked the book. But the narrator was excellent, adding to the portrayal of the character with his voice that made it a wonderful experience. I will look for Dion as a narrator. His narration made me stick with Audible.
