Everyone - the police, her parents, even her best friend and younger sister - is convinced that Adam left her. But Grace, unable to let go of her memories of their love and life together, cannot accept this explanation.

The story was good; however, there were so many vernacular mistakes that I grew frustrated. So many things a Brit just wouldn’t say; really took away from the story.

Very intriguing and super twisty; just when you thought……dunn dunn dunn, you realize you haven’t. Just as a great mystery should be written. The performance was outstanding. Could have done without the GD’s but otherwise a great listen.

As they recount the events surrounding the disappearance of their toddler—one with a tendency to bite—two parents cope with grief in vastly different ways. While the father wrestles with feelings of guilt, the mother is convinced she’s spotted the boy in frightening TV news reports...though let’s just say he looks nothing like the precocious little boy they remember from a decade ago.

I’m so sorry, I can’t even finish, I really tried to push through but just can’t. The narrator is all wrong, sounding more like the fishmongers wife than a young French lady. The young lady lead is so ridiculous, it’s insulting.
