Very good book
Reviewed: 07-02-20
First I want to address some negative reviews on this book. I read reviews before I purchase books. In this case, I repeatedly read that this was an infomercial. It is so far from an infomercial that it is ridiculous to suggest it. First, he always refers you to his website for video instructions on a particular Innercise. He provides testimonials about successes that others have had. Without the testimonials, how can you know your efforts will be worth it? Regardless, I got a lot out of the book and am working on some of the Innercises he lists and describes. I am not put off by the author's wealth. I think that people who work to help others reap the benefits of the work, plain and simple and I do recommend the book.

Story
Modern art dealer Granville Hardwick has a way with people - a way of making them wish he were dead. His London gallery is filled with works of questionable merit, his dating pool consists of other men's wives, and his home is the eyesore of a fine old neighborhood. So when Hardwick turns up dead, bashed on the head by a rather tasteless reproduction, it's Hetheridge and his new bride, Kate, who embark on solving the case

This is a very good book and a good narration as well. At first I didn't think I could apply it to my job but once I got past the first part I fully understood why it applies to everything in life. I loved the examples from his FBI days but the student examples were equally good. Thank you.

I need the info in this book but boy is it hard to listen too. The narration is very bad. It is read as if a computer is reading it. Pronounces Basil as baazzle. Pronounced Gout as Goat. Seriously, it is beyond bad. If I did not have it set on 1.35x play back, I could not have gotten through the book. It was painful.

Great book - horrible narrator
Reviewed: 04-25-15
If you could sum up Blood and Honor in three words, what would they be?
W.E.B Griffin is a great writer but how they could ever let this narrator read any book is beyond me. He is absolutely horrible. Very slow, monotone and terrible pronunciation. And when he tries to change voices for different characters is even worse. I was horrified to see how many of Griffin's books he has narrated. I would think that someone would have figured it out after the first book and kicked him out the door and locked it behind him.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
He was the worst ever narrator. Monotone, slow and poor pronunciation.
