Historia
With panic and intolerance spreading and streets becoming littered with the Order's propaganda, hostility between Humans and Therians grows daily. Dex and Sloane, along with the rest of the team, are determined to take down the Order and restore peace, not to mention settle a personal score. But the deeper the team investigates the bombings, the more they believe there's a more sinister motive than a desire to shed blood and spread chaos.

Awesome continuation
Revisado: 04-14-21
This series is really cool and it gets better from here. The only issue is Ash's voice. He sounds like a scrawny NY kid and is the only one with a NY accent when they are all from NY. It seems like they are trying to make him Country Bumping Needy instead of a CCQ Specialist Lion Therian. It's akward.

Dude! High Five! Coffee? **Moan**
Revisado: 03-14-21
Let me first say I love RH books. I also rarely review books unless they are exceptionally good or bad and read/listen to a series twice before I write a negative review.
Listen this only if you are waiting for another series or book to come out and are really bored
The plot and powers are interesting.
First I have no idea why this author has this 19 year old moaning every time she eats. On top of this she cries All. The. Time. I'm not kidding, she cries after every action scene, every emotional revelation, everything she is stressed out even a little.
She has no self confidence, which is strange for a MC. She doubts her bonded mates, people she admits love her beyond reason and are made for her, and believes everything random side characters tell her as facts. For example she has a major emotional decision to make and she calls an ex boyfriend she hasn't seen in over a year. What?!?
The worst thing is she avoids making any major decisions until either someone pushes her just before its too late (which she admits she is thankful for) and doesn't stop doing it even at the end of the book.
A few other things: she forgives everyone (even for kidnapping and murder), all but one of her men say Dude (even just after sex) and high five over her naked body, the author has main characters and never tells you their abilities or whether or not they are human or variants.
If you want a similar story that is more in depth and has a MC who starts weak and confused but ends up strong. try The Seraph Black Series by Jane Washington.

I've read and listened to the whole series, the books back-to-back a year ago and then the audio books back-to-back.
This is a very simple version of The Seraph Black Series by Jane Washington. Its a good story but has a lot of issues with rushing the story.
There are alot of annoying things about this series. Want some examples?
**Minor Spoilers**
-The MC cries constantly. Constantly. Dont think this is just a little crying. Its bad.
- She has a 150 IQ and has been taught how to run and dissappear her whole life but can't even get out of the city when she runs when she thinks the people who scared her mom had her.
- One of her men verbally and mentally abuses her and leaves her alone and grieving for a year, she says she's angry and won't recover but forgives them within a few days.
- Her men have had powers almost their whole lives but only 1 can even use his with any intelligence. Like her fire guy can put out fire but doesn't in a main scene, the pain master (almost 30yrs old) can target either one person or everyone at the same time (really?) but wont use his powers when his whole family is going to die?
-Her men promise not to lie but literally lie to her the next day and over and over after that. Does she learn from it? No. Forgive and forget, right?
-One of her guys can fly and has Telekinesis. Full Stop. This is a game killer of a combo. He NEVER uses flight or fine manipulation. Its just stupid.

To stupid to live
Revisado: 03-08-21
Its an interesting story but after 2 books o the same thing I'm just done. Why would Haley trust anything they say to her when they lie, keep information, and even drug her to "keep her safe." This is super messed up and creepy. All of the guys are older and keep taking advantage of her. What exactly is the main characters personality? Does she have any interests besides being good at everything she tries? She has no depth.

Historia
Deputy US Marshal Miro Jones has a reputation for being calm and collected under fire. These traits serve him well with his hotshot partner, Ian Doyle, the kind of guy who can start a fight in an empty room. In the past three years of their life-and-death job, they've gone from strangers to professional coworkers to devoted teammates and best friends. Miro’s cultivated blind faith in the man who has his back… faith and something more.

Makes No Sense
Revisado: 03-06-21
How are these characters old friends and partners for THREE YEARS and know nothing about each other? Why is a US Marshal wearing $300 pants to a raid? Why is his partner suprised by his morning routine when they travel all over the US together? They dont get separate rooms on their runs. I mean what??? Why are US Marshals sent to collect criminals without knowing anything about the people they are arresting? They dont know anything about police procedure or the military but the author makes sure to carefully explain only the most obvious justice system facts. It's almost like the author only knows what she sees on TV.
Worse yet, this is a sad version of the Cut and Run series by Abigail Roux.

Every high school has its rock star. Maybe it's the quarterback, head cheerleader, or the valedictorian - the one student who outshines the rest. The one everyone knows will be successful in the years to come. For Nolan that was a lifetime ago, before he lost his sight, before he even knew what a Leech was. Now, all Nolan wants is to see Caleo survive to fulfill his destiny.

Historia
Every high school has it's social elite; the football players and cheerleaders...you know, the popular crowd. At Butler High, Jack Barely was as close to the top as they came. Captain of the swim team, great hair, and abs that most would die for. However, that was all before the Leeches attacked, taking away everything: his popularity, his house, his grandmother, and even his best friend, Caleo, whom he secretly loved. Now, living in a destroyed world, popularity means nothing as Jack struggles just to keep him and his twin sister, Jillian, alive.

Jack and Caleo and Nolan...
Revisado: 03-02-21
The love triangle here is a little awkward because Caleo just turned 18 and Nolan is over 40. Time passes (over 8 months) but lots of the time is spent seperated for long stretches where none of them see each other. This is where it seems odd that Nolan is so in love with Caleo and not wonder if its more like he is in love with the idea of the Angel mixed with his ability to manipulate and control a young adult? This makes it feel akward because Caleo has obvious hero worship toward Nolan and is stressed, depressed, in mourning and scared throughout the series. So with the half truths, left out information, and outright lies it makes it hard to see Nolan as any kind of hero or feel like there is any real "love" from either side.

Historia
Every High School has their social outcasts. The band nerds, the math geeks, the chess club, the girl that chews her hair, but at Butler High, even the creepy nose picker in the chess club is more popular than Caleo Anima. No matter what he did, his pale skin, snow white hair, and piercing blue eyes always made him an easy target. He used to think that the only way things could get worse would be if someone found out that he was gay, but that isn't even the tip of the iceberg of problems after a mysterious stranger shows up and changes Caleo's life forever.

Interesting Storyline
Revisado: 03-02-21
This is a really great story that I've read numerous times. It was nice to hear it read. There are some odd mispronunciation issues but Lovett does well with conveying emotion without horrible volume issues (like when a narrator yells when I'm trying to relax.)

You'd think that basically being in charge of love would be an epic job, right? Wrong. Sure, I can blow some Lust into people's faces and watch the show, but I can't actually participate. It gets old, trust me. Same goes for love. I can pass it out like sugar-free lollipops at a dentist's office, but I can't get any love for myself. It totally sucks. I used to consider myself a hopeless romantic, so why wouldn't I choose to become a cupid? Sounds like a good idea, right? Wrong again. They don't call us stupid cupids for nothing.

Ash
Revisado: 01-31-21
Oh my God Ash sounds like a teen on steroids. Carl sounds more "manly" than Ash lol. That is NOT how I would have EVER have imagined Ash to sound. I started laughing out loud in a doctors office. The story is great though. Very good mix of sexy times and action. It's a little more story crammed into a small package because it spans 2 side characters whole stories. It's kind of an emotional rollercoaster. Worth it if you read THIRDS but don't start the series here.
