Story
A queen now in exile as a traitor, Lara has watched Ithicana be conquered by her own father, helpless to do anything to stop the destruction. But when she learns her husband, Aren, has been captured in battle, Lara knows there is only one reason her father is keeping him alive: as bait for his traitorous daughter. And it is bait she fully intends to take. Risking her life to the Tempest Seas, Lara returns to Ithicana with a plan not only to free its king, but for liberating the Bridge Kingdom from her father’s clutches using his own weapons: the sisters whose lives she spared.

This storyline had me from the very first five minutes. This is so well written the characters are crazy good character arts are wild. The twists are just gonna keep you wanting to continue the story. I cannot wait to start the next book. For my spicy readers, there is a few spicy scenes and they’re very well written, but this is more focusing on the storyline which is action packed. I highly recommend picking this up.

Story
I’ll travel through realms. I’ll tussle with mythical creatures. And I’ll hand over the things I value most—even if it means playing right into Lucifer’s hands. I never could have imagined I’d risk everything for a demon. But what Samael and I have will always be worth fighting for. Even if it means ending treaties, severing friendships, and alienating our allies. Because Samael is mine now. And I protect what’s mine.

So a lot happened in this book it kept me intrigued for sure and there was a big reveal, which was good to keep the storyline going, but I can’t quite put my finger on why this book just wasn’t my favorite in the series so far. Gonna hop onto the next one to see what happens next.

I hunt demons. I don’t work for them. And I promised my mom one thing before she was murdered: Under no circumstances, would I ever go near the high demons. But I’ll break that promise over and over again if it helps me avenge her death. When my only lead turns to ash in the middle of demon territory, I’m suddenly a dead witch walking. Violence in Samael’s club is an automatic death sentence… unless he can use you.

Then storyline definitely kept you going. Character development is still ongoing. I feel like this one’s one of the ones where it’s a little bit slow to start with world building, but I’m excited to get to the next book as far as spice level goes tension is well written, and there is a little spice more than YA but not as in depth as something like a touch of darkness where it’s like every five minutes. This is more of a book where the tension kind of takes the center stage, but we’ll see on the next book. I’m sure it’s gonna be more spicy.

Now, a little bit of a slow start, but damn this storyline slaps! The tension throughout this thing is a delicious and there isn’t a bunch of spice general smut goes, but the spice that’s in here is graphic and so well written. I’m hooked I’m in for the rest of the series. The character arcs and development is just beautiful. You need to listen to this or go get a physical copy.

OK, so she pulled back a little bit on the horn dogness and I do mean the tiniest bit. Kind of got super predictable in that aspect, but otherwise the storyline was great. Apollo‘s arc though I’m living for it. And of course Hermes is our best friend.
If I could relisten to this all over again, I definitely would he the authors advice and at least listen to the hades version before. Listen to this cause I got lost at times if I wasn’t paying very close attention and I feel like there’s things I missed.

This is the best one yet for sure! That ending oh my God. The only thing I would improve about this one is that it’s like every five seconds there’s a sex scene. Which is well written don’t get me wrong, but it’s just kind of overdone. And this one we laughed, we cried, we spiced (like rabbits lol), we were shooketh. I’m so excited for the next one.

For Bryn Meara, a free trip to the exclusive and ultra-luxe Nightfall hotel and casino in Vegas should’ve been the perfect way to escape the debris of her crumbling career. But waking up from a martini-and-lust-fueled night to find herself married to Caiden Verran, the reclusive billionaire who owns the hotel and most of the city, isn’t the jackpot one would think. It seems her dark and sexy new husband is actual royalty—the fae king of the Night Court—and there’s an entire world beneath the veil of Vegas.
