I'm a 61 yr old grandmother who listened to the

it so much that I have listened to all of them.
These books are great fun for any age.

Story
Escape is a classic encounter between the forces of good and evil in human form that asks, and answers, questions of how to deal with supposedly "God-inspired" acts of murder and mayhem. In a riveting trial of garish courtroom confrontations, newly elected New York District Attorney Karp battles the "insanity of the insanity defense", as he tries to make Jessica Campbell, a rabble-rousing political science professor at NYU, pay for the murder of her three children. While Campbell claims that God told her to "send her three children to Him," it is up to Karp to prove that she was fully aware of the nature and consequences of her actions.

This is typical of the Butch Karp books but dont
believe the description provided by Audible. It
is completely incorrect and does not in any way
sharp of form (other than the characters) describe this book. If you liked the other books with the same characters you will like this one.

I purchased this book for a long trips with
children in the car. I enjoyed it so much
that I purchased the next two books. This is
a great book for children 10 and up - and for
adults as well. It was well read, easy to follow and a bit scary.

No one knows the dark side of "The Street" better than master storyteller Stephen Frey, author of such riveting novels as Shadow Account and The Day Trader. Now, in his most ambitious work to date, Frey proves that no writer can put a high-powered hero at greater risk, nor offer readers more thrilling rewards.
