Cute feel good love story, slow start.

Loved this book. Thought it was sweet, makes you think of that one person in your life. The beginning was a little slow, and hard to focus but it got my attention by the 4 or 5 chapter. Would listen again, or recommend to a friend.

Good but not the book for me

This is a well written story, and narrated very well. It just isn’t the type of book I am normally into. I listened to it because it is so popular currently. Glad I gave it a chance but also it was a little hard and slow to get through, and the storyline pops around a lot, which can be hard to keep up on. May be easier to read it than it was to listen to.

Started off slow, fully captivating after the first hour

I was thrown off at first after listening to other Kristin Hannah books by the different narrator but Polly stone did a wonderful job, her dictation was lovely to hear. The story line was beautifully written and I feel like I learned more about ww2 than I had known before. Be prepared to feel sad, and possibly cry. (I did, at work...)

Very captivating

This is the first book of its genre that I have ever listened to. I absolutely loved it! The historical facts that are in this are so interesting to hear about, I had never listened to any books about the dust bowl. The sentiment of this book also caught me off guard but it was so lovely. All in all I’d rate this 10/10!

I loved this book. It was suspenseful, and engaging right off the bat. The story kept me on the edge of my seat. And as always, imogen church kills it at the narration.
