Finally Birdie gets recognized!
Reviewed: 03-21-23
I hated how Cyrus and Holiday treated Birdie. They shut her out in fear of pulling her into the conspiracy, but forgot she's still their sister! Holiday, of all people, should know what it's like to be left out. But what I'm wondering is, what happened to the hoverboard? I think Holiday should've pulled it out to run from the Child Catchers with
Birdie. Now, it's only a matter of time until she finds out about it.

How is not putting syrup on your pancakes savage?! What's savage is putting the
system before your child's hunger! Besides, syrup is just sweet lab fluids. It's not good for you, anyway. 😒 I had to put this out there. It's just common sense.

Story
It’s two months before Amelia’s big audition for the Mystwick School of Musicraft. If she gets in, she will learn to spin music into powerful magic - but her Gran has one last-ditch plan to persuade her out of it: sports camp. A week of softball, sprinting, and sweaty socks isn't exactly Amelia’s idea of a good time - in fact, she's deeply, appallingly unathletic. By the end of day one, she’s puked her guts out in track, gotten a black eye in no-contact flag football, and firmly established herself as the Least Valuable Player at camp.

I really liked the concept. the plot was a bit too much ( coming from a Harry Potter
fan ) for me, but this book is UNDENIABLY AWESOME! though, I did think Amelia
and jai had a ' thing ' I was a little disappointed they didn't end up together, but
their friendship is a good thing. it was too predictable, though. besides that
AWESOME.

I hate that fitz tried to kiss Sophie at the end, Sophie keeps tripping and being caught, someone ( mostly Keefe or fitz ) suggests they carry
her. and dex keeps being sidelined. it isn't fair. and I wish they would end the whole ' love square ' I hate it. besides all that, it's pretty good.
and it's about time they went dex's house. this book was a little disappointing.
