Another happy surprise form Tiffany Roberts

I really enjoyed this book. I usually don’t like very “alien” looking alien romance stories. However, I am now wishing there were more books in the series available on Audible! The storyline is pretty strong and the characters are good together. The world building is good also.
The 2 books by Tiffany Roberts available here have been great!

Story
Walk. Scavenge. Destroy. Trade. A simple cycle that's suited Ronin for 185 years. With no clear grasp of his programming, the barren wasteland known as The Dust offers him purpose, a place where his armored undercasing, amped-up processors, and advanced optics can be put to use. The ramshackle towns on the edges of the waste serve merely as resupply stations between increasingly long treks. But one night - one human woman - makes him question everything.

Pleasantly Surprised! One of my favorite reads.

I downloaded Dustwaker on a whim after hearing about the author, Tiffany Roberts, on a book vlog. Normally, I’m not that keen on robotic science fiction romance so I didn’t think I would get into the story much. This book was a more than pleasant surprise! The world building, character development and romance are all on point with this one! Even though the fact the hero is a robot is essential to the plot, I wasn’t off put by it at all. I am sooo glad I gave this book a chance and can’t wait to read others by this author.

Could have been great...

Everything about this book should have been great. The general plot was good, the execution however, was really very bad. I am sure the narration didn’t help with the missing and poorly executed story. While I though Michelle Ford did an ok job on the women’s voices, I could barely tell the difference between the women’s and men’s parts other than a slight Scottish lilt.
Overall I would say, don’t waist your time or credit. I couldn’t even bring myself to finish the book.

Ok story and good idea. Bad narration.

The narration was dull and awkward. The idea of the story was good and the book wasn't bad but it wasn't great.
