Story
Rosie Graham has a problem. A few, actually. She just quit her well-paid job to focus on her secret career as a romance writer. She hasn’t told her family and now has terrible writer’s block. Then, the ceiling of her New York apartment literally crumbles on her. Luckily she has her best friend Lina’s spare key while she’s out of town. But Rosie doesn’t know that Lina has already lent her apartment to her cousin Lucas, who Rosie has been stalking—for lack of a better word—on Instagram for the last few months.

Narration is great - story is boring
Reviewed: 04-19-23
I almost skipped this because there were so many negative reviews about the male narrator. I was scared going in after that, waiting for him to pop up and ruin it, but when he did come along I thought he was perfect for the role.
What I didn’t see mentioned was how absolutely boring this was. I think it’d be a fine summer fluffy read but I was looking for some real good functional chemistry, connection, and emotions - Of which we got none. There are too many good books out there to waste your time on bad ones. Not worth the credit imo

Story
It all started with an anonymous letter. He wasn’t supposed to find it - no one was. And he definitely wasn’t supposed to answer it. We end up talking through letters and sticky notes in a book. All baring our darkest, deepest secrets. It’s all fun and games until I find out who my pen pal is...Xavier Emery. King of my basketball-obsessed town, my childhood bully, and the guy I am in grave danger of falling in love with. But the rules were clear: We can never know who we’re talking to, and the confessions can never, ever get out.

Casteel Da’Neer knows all too well that very few are as cunning or vicious as the Blood Queen, but no one, not even him, could’ve prepared for the staggering revelations. The magnitude of what the Blood Queen has done is almost unthinkable.

Worth the credit!

I was worried when I saw a male narrator because I’m so used to Stina’s voice covering the male parts in this series but I was pleasantly surprised. I really loved Tim’s voice for Casteel. The whole performance and the story were A+ absolutely worth a credit

Story
June 5, 1967: The fearsome, Soviet-equipped Egyptian Army and its 1000 tanks are massed on Israel's southern border. Meanwhile, the Syrian Army is shelling the much smaller nation from the north. And to the east, Jordan and Iraq are moving brigades and fighter squadrons into position to attack. Egypt's President Nasser has declared that the Arab world's goal is no less than "the destruction of Israel."

Amazingly fascinating

A great production, another great Steven Pressfield book. I really Winnipeg’s the retelling of stories by actual vets, a true boots on the ground account of the Sixth Day War.
