I loved every minute of this book. I was in my feels and loving life. Wes and Jamie are precious and I love them and ugh they are everything I didn’t know I needed this week. Seeing their story continue in this book and facing new challenges was fun to see even if it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. I loved it and this series will be a comfort read for me when I need it 🥰

Story
Jamie Canning has never been able to figure out how he lost his closest friend. Four years ago, his tattooed, wisecracking, rule-breaking roommate cut him off without an explanation. So what if things got a little weird on the last night of hockey camp the summer they were 18? It was just a little drunken foolishness. Nobody died.

Story
I never wanted to go back home. Hallow Ranch was my own personal hell, and I was lucky to escape in one piece. My brother's betrayal was the last straw, but he doesn't know the real reason I left. For the last decade, I've focused on one thing: bull riding. Until her. She was a stranger, but she was scared and in need of saving. Now, she's become my obsession, and her past is even darker than mine. My brother is calling me home, and I have no choice. Because Harmony is the key to taking down Tim Moonie and saving Hallow Ranch.

I have never cried so hard and so much while reading a book as I did reading this. I had been counting down the days since I finished Breathe for Me and that cliffhanger I was left with. It was devastating reading Mason’s POV about what happened since the last time he’s seen Denver and understanding why he left Hallow Ranch. While Denver has my heart, Mason has also worked his way into my heart as well. He is angry and searching for peace that he lost from a young age and his peace came in Harmony. Both have their demons and darkness in their souls put there by others. Together they conquered their darkness and found light in each other, they brought each other back to life when they were just surviving and going through the motions of their lives. They were two halves of a broken soul, piecing each other back together. I loved some of the parallels in this story with Denver’s and while it hurt reading about their dark pasts, it brought us here to their new family and reuniting one lost. I loved every painful and beautiful moment this book brought to me and I cannot wait to see what’s next!

Story
I’m a golden boy. A genius law student, the heir to the Carson empire, and the dutiful son. Or, at least, that's what it looks like from the outside. Deep inside, I have the urge to set the world on fire. I keep these impulses in check, rarely indulging in mayhem. Until one night of debauchery backfires, and I'm caught by a villain. I bury the entire ordeal with the rest of my skeletons. That is, until that night walks into my classroom in the form of my new professor. Kayden Lockwood.

The emotional roller coaster that this book took me on!!! I am devastated I can never read this book for the first time again and fall in love with Gareth and Kayden. They are everything I didn’t know I needed today. Getting to see Gareth more was everything I didn’t know I needed. I love him, he is precious to me and Jesus did he hurt me when he was hurting. And Kayden, Jesus this man is hot. I loved their whole push and pull game they had in the beginning, reminded me a bit of Nikolai and Brandon, but more unhinged between the two. Seeing them come together *chefs kiss* perfection. And the narration, the full cast, having narrators reprise their roles, was everything. They brought this story to life and hurt my feelings and pieced me back together in the only way they and Rina could. This book is about to become my whole personality and I’m not even sorry. I need the next book like no 😩

Confident and flirty Luke Kelly likes to play the field—dating as well as baseball. When he meets Max during a night shift at work, he takes an instant liking to him despite the other man's reserved exterior and shy personality.

Max and Luke 🥹🥺 ugh their story was fun and sad at times. What I would give 🥺🥺🥺 I loved seeing Luke and Max’s relationship develop and Mac regaining his confidence and control. And Luke being Luke was what Max needed. I loved everything about them and I loved the Carter and Zeke cameo, so precious and glad to see Carter’s grumpy self - especially when it came to max as well. Their friendship is fun and I loved that they’re keeping in touch. I also loved seeing Max open up to his coach. It was nice seeing more of the relationship the coach has with his players. I cannot wait for the next book!

Story
When they were only teenagers, Axel and Caxton were caught making out in the woods at church camp. And afterward, Cax had disappeared from all the youth group activities. Six years later Axel is astonished to spot his first love's face in the crowd of a college basketball game he's watching on television - at a school that has just offered him a job. It's a thousand miles away, in a tiny rural town. But suddenly he can't wait to get there.

Story
Most people called it a cult. But for 20 years, Josh and Caleb called it home. In Paradise, there is no television. No fast food. Just long hours of farmwork and prayer on a dusty Wyoming ranch and nights in a crowded bunkhouse. The boys of the Compound are kept far from the sinners' world. But Joshua doesn't need temptation to sin. His whole life he's wanted his best friend, Caleb. By day they work side by side. Only when Josh closes his eyes at night can they be together the way he craves. It can never be.

My feelings 😭😭
Reviewed: 12-24-24
I was a mess of feelings and I loved it all. This was a sweet story of two people overcoming odds against them. Seeing Josh and Caleb starting from scratch after escaping the cult was fun and flowed nicely. It was just all good things and no hang ups when that most certainly isn’t the case. They had their bumps and trying to figure out everything they were deprived of. I loved seeing Josh gain some confidence and all his growth outside of the compound. Overall loved the book and I just want more of Josh and Caleb 🥰

Sounds like a tacky wall-art quote to me. But what do I know? I don’t have a family. Not anymore. And I definitely don’t know loyalty. Not since my brothers collectively decided to shut me out of their lives... Not since my mother lied to me and kept a devastating secret... Not since my father sold our company out from under me to a smug jerk with a chip on his shoulder.

Ugh I never thought I could love a character and want to burn things to the ground for one so fast after their less than stellar introduction… but Mitch has wormed his way into my heart and I will keep him there forever. He has gone through too much and then to have his whole world flipped upside down, it’s a lot to take on for one person. And having to come to terms with a lot about himself isn’t easy and I am so glad to see him go down this path and accept who he’s always been. Seeing him repair his relationships with his brothers, especially Magnus, warms my heart. From feeling unloved and unwanted to learning he is and always has been. It has been an emotional journey and Gideon helping him through it all was just 🥹 amazing. Their relationship was also fun to see develop given their first interactions and just seeing him be patient with Mitch. Ugh I can never read this book for the first time again and I’m suuuper sad about it 😭😭

Okay it took me a bit to get through this because it was too freaking cute and I couldn’t handle all the cuteness. Matt is freaking adorable and a romantic and one of us, a delulu king. Now if only we all could manifest our own Hugos and great romantic happily ever afters, life would be soooo much better. I loved every silly and sweet moment of this book. Will probably listen to this again when I need a fluffy pick me up.
