Story
Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she’s now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people. As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre’s hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin.

so boring

I suffered through the whole book. it so pretentious superficial and basic. not my cuppa. I did finish it but took me weeks and just wanted to get done with it. narration was not the best either. I really hate how these audiobooks have literally no resale value and once you paid for something u don't like you cannot even resell it. sounds like a total ripoff.

Story
The scowl should’ve been my first clue to stay far away from Anson Hunt. The sexy smirk and the fact that he’s my brother’s best friend? Reasons two and three. Not to mention, he’s the new contractor working on my house. He’s everything I’m not: grumpy, rude, and more than a little attached to his solitude. It doesn’t matter how many times I try to kill him with kindness; the man simply won’t crack. Until he sees me shatter. Because when my world comes crashing down around me, Anson is the one catching me as I fall.

Adair Thorne has just watched his gaming-hell dream disappear into a blaze of fire and ash, and he’s certain that his competitors, the Killorans, are behind it. His fury and passion burn even hotter when he meets Cleopatra Killoran, a tart-mouthed vixen who mocks him at every turn. If she were anyone else but the enemy, she’d ignite a desire in him that would be impossible to control. No one can make Cleopatra do anything. That said, she’ll do whatever it takes to protect her siblings—even if that means being sponsored by their rivals for a season in order to land a noble husband.

Awful, just awful
Reviewed: 01-17-23
Started out okayish, quickly went downhill. One dimensional characters, constant repetitions, overindulgence of useless descriptions that do not add anything to the story. So much CRINGE!
This story is full of one-dimensional characters. They are either unrealistically good or evil.
Men who are morally dubious and excused because ofc MEN are just being men.🤮 The sisterhood of "good" women who collectively hate one terrible evil women. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️Both type of characters are so awfully overdone to the point of being utterly ridiculous.
Hero is a mountain man, that's is, nothing more to say about him. He gets away with everything because he is sexy. What nonsense?! If in real life someone takes away your car keys, has your papers and wants to lock you in his house please call the police!!! no matter how handsome he is.🤦♀️ Otherwise he is waaay too cheesy and utterly unrealistic.
Heroine is sooooo so so so annoying with her know it all attitude, idiotic self-assurance and atrocious personality. An opinionated judgmental hypocrite, just a pain in the backside.
The whole premise of the book, the characters, their relationship, the conflicts are so cliche and sound like it was written by a 5 year old!!!😖 Can I get my money back please!?

Sometimes I need an escape from the demands, the puck bunnies, and the notoriety that come with being an NHL team captain. I just want to be a normal guy for a few weeks. So when I leave Chicago for some peace and quiet, the last thing I expect is for a gorgeous woman to literally fall into my lap on a flight to Alaska. Even better, she has absolutely no idea who I am.

Disappointed
Reviewed: 01-13-23
Big disappointment for me 🥺 wish I could return! It was such a hyped book and previously I've read from this author so I had my expectations high I guess. Very cliche characters often unrealistic inconsistent ooc behavior. I really didn't feel true connection with these two, other than insta-lust. Sad to tag this as "romance".

Story
Judith Hampton was as beautiful as she was proud and loyal. Her dear Scottish friend from childhood was about to give birth, and Judith had promised to be at her side. But there was another reason for the journey from her bleak English home to the Highlands: to meet the father she had never known, the Laird Maclean. Nothing prepared her, however, for the sight of the Scottish barbarian who was to escort her into his land...Iain Maitland, laird of his clan, a man more powerfully compelling than any she had ever encountered.
