The title is a line from a Louise Penny novel, but fits for Mr. Bliss’ book. I thought the book would just be kind of fun and funny. Yes, it’s fun and funny. It’s also very smart and instructive, offers an amazing take on storytelling and is full of heart. I felt sure I would laugh but never knew I’d actually learn things as well. The Master’s Ferret actually brought me to tears and then ended with a laugh out loud. I know the printed version is just as wonderful but hearing him read his own work in that voice we’ve all come to love for his video shorts, makes it a terrific work. I highly recommend the book and hope it shows up on everyone’s bookshelf.

These stories did what they always did. They touched both my heart and my love of horror. They are all so well done, so beautiful. I’m always anticipating the next book, yet want to allow Mr. King the freedom to lay down his pen when the time is right. You have filled my life for 50 years now. Thank you.

This feels so real, I kept having to break from the story to Google names and places. Given this story, that's says a lot! Just riveting!! There's more story here - I can feel it! Bring it on!

Tim Curry Delivers this classic story with all the appeal it so richly deserves. I don’t write well but I know when my heart swells and my eyes fill with tears. If only I could put it into words.

I loved this follow up to the boy in the woods. I don’t wanna say too much and spoil it for everyone, except I can admit that I’m in love with the character, Hester. She’s a real, well, character! Thank you so much, Mr. Coben

I am totally enjoying the story but Xe Sands’ vocal fry in this book, which is supposed to translate to “intimate”, is so off-putting, I’m going to just get this as an iBook, rather than Audible. She’s obviously very talented but just not for me.

I love this author. I think Andy Weir is terrific. I loved the Martian and the technical details he gave us to help his hero survive. The Egg is a brilliant work. This one, though…I love the story but there was SO much of the technical details that I finally gave up. I mean, he’s obviously brilliant and a engineer or scientist or math person would probably spend all their time trying to find holes in the science, but I was using all that detail for background noise until it came to developing the story. The whole thing could have been a short story, or a novella at best.

I am aware that the prevailing thought is that a middle book in a 3-book series doesn’t require a lot of consideration or expectation. Hate Crush is definitely an argument against that. While the romance is hot, hot, hot, the enveloping story keeps you engaged all the way through. She doesn’t make excuses for her characters but keeps them human and aware of their flaws, without blaming everyone else for them. I love these people and the Monte!
