Story
Nathaniel's bus ride was supposed to be just another boring commute. Wrong. Now, he, 23 fellow passengers, and a corgi named Biscuit, are stuck in a "Hell Difficulty" Tutorial, battling monsters and leveling up to survive. Easy difficulty, anyone can handle. Normal difficulty, you've got to put up a fight to get by. Hard difficulty is where only the tough ones last. And Hell? That's where you have to be a bit out of your mind! With his terrifying talent for mana manipulation, Nathaniel decides to invest every stat point into mana.

what?
Reviewed: 05-21-24
the MC has no redeeming qualities and the logic jumps made for thought processes / conversations made no sense. Narrator did an excellent job, but this is not the book for me.

Decent story
Reviewed: 02-11-22
I thought it was a decent story. The narrator was a little stiff and there is a point just past the middle of the book where the narrator has a lot of background noise going on and her voice breaks in and out.

Story
As a programmer, Ike knows all about Virtual Dive Experiences (VDX), but when he suddenly wakes up in a virtual game he's never heard of, he’s too busy struggling to survive to worry about how he got there. Luckily, he's got a trick up his sleeve: the ability to program custom enchantments for his gear. He’ll need that and more to figure out what’s going on, since there’s no tutorial and True Calling plays by its own rules....

Great book.....

I love the book. But the narrator kept throwing me off with the way he read it. He emphasized words that are not normally done that way in certain sentence structures and my brain kept trying to correct it while i was listening. I didn't even get the book downloaded all the way before i cancelled it and downloaded the book itself to read.
