Story
Thirty-four years ago, Violet Sullivan put on her party finery and left for the annual Fourth of July fireworks display. She was never seen again. In the small California town of Serena Station, tongues wagged. Some said she'd run off with a lover. Some said she was murdered by her husband.

I've enjoyed quite a few of Sue Grafton's books, but this one is just too XXX rated. Way to much sex and to much graphic sexual details that don't really enhance the story. I hope "T" tones that emphasis down...

Story
Community is more than just a word; it is one of our most fundamental requirements. So how do flawed, abnormal people such as ourselves master the forces that can drive us apart and come together in the life-changing relationships God designed us for? In Everybody's Normal Till You Get to Know Them, teacher and best-selling author John Ortberg zooms in on the things that make community tick. You'll get a thought-provoking look at God's heart, at others, and at yourself. Even better, you'll gain wisdom and tools for drawing closer to others in powerful, impactful ways.

Great book

John really puts this one together right. I listed to it twice in a month's time and after ordering from Audible for about four years, that's a first. I also purchased the book. John has a unique talent at putting catchy humor in just the right places to get an important message about life across. e.g. Sarah was the first Mom to go to the checkout with both Pampers and Depends... and they also ate the same strained vegetables. ... A great listen.
