Story
The shocking tale told in How I Helped O. J. Get Away with Murder is unlike anything you've read before. It isn't Mike Gilbert's "version" of what happened'; it's the unvarnished truth - the truth about O. J., the murders, and the infamous trial, not as Gilbert imagined or would like it to be, but how it actually was.

Interesting to know the Brown family sold topless photos of Nicole to make a buck.

Story
In a strange world where Rose McGowan was continually on display, stardom soon became a personal nightmare of constant exposure and sexualization. Rose escaped into the world of her mind, something she had done as a child, and into high-profile relationships. Every detail of her personal life became public, and the realities of an inherently sexist industry emerged with every script, role, public appearance, and magazine cover. The Hollywood machine packaged her as a sexualized bombshell, hijacking her image and identity and marketing them.

Brave, she is....

If you could sum up BRAVE in three words, what would they be?
Raw. Real. Radical.
What did you like best about this story?
Rose held nothing back. Rose has enough guts to call out movie industry power houses that are intoxicated with ego and power, and everyday people who contribute to inappropriate behavior.
What does Rose McGowan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
You can hear the emotion in Rose's voice that wouldn't have been captured if another actor read the book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes.
Any additional comments?
I read some of the negative reviews of this book by other members. Some of them called Rose a "man hater". Rose simply told HER story and unfortunately, her story has negative content against men she dealt with. Perhaps if Rose didn't have the experiences she did, she wouldn't have had to start a revolution and write this book. Others said she needs to take responsibility for her "actions". That's like saying she asked to be raped. I'm so sad and appalled that this mentality still resides in men and women.
Rose, thank you for having the biggest balls in Hollywood!
