Story
In the not too distant past, along the Mississippi River, North America tried to tear itself in half. It failed. It won’t the second time. The New Madrid fault zone, six times larger than the San Andreas in California, has generated a series of massive earthquakes thrusting the Atwood and Chandler families in a fight to survive. Will they arrive for Christmas? Will they arrive at all? Their lives are about to change forever. Prepare to be shaken.

Good story, Great research

The story moved along well and had key scientific facts explained in a manner easily digested. A little corny with the family dynamics involved during a major disaster but fun anyway.

Stirringly evocative, thought provoking, and often jaw dropping, The Operator ranges across SEAL Team Operator Robert O'Neill's awe-inspiring 400-mission career that included his involvement in attempts to rescue "Lone Survivor" Marcus Luttrell and abducted-by-Somali-pirates Captain Richard Phillips and culminated in those famous three shots that dispatched the world's most wanted terrorist, Osama bin Laden.

This is a great story and reminds us how humble, deadly, and excellent our service members are everyday. You dont have to be a SEAL to be a hero, but it sure helps.

the story picked up as it went along but it seemed predictable. I think the author was writing while watching television. Anyone listening would guess he was watching Gladiator and Sniper while writing. The narrator was great. I'll still purchase the third book.
