Too much bad language.
Reviewed: 12-15-24
This book started out without too much bad language. Then it didn’t take long to start using the “F” word. It’s hard for me to listen to that much language and graphic sex. Although the. Book kept me listening. The story was mixed in emotion. Sad, happy, hopeful, and many other emotions. It’s ok.

This book seemed to drag on and on. The story got old. The narrator was too animated. He read the book well but didn’t make me feel like I was part of the story. Not personal. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the book because I enjoy things written by Joy Ellis. But she could have done better this time.

I loved your book, Alissa. I relate to your sincere inspiration. I too lost a child. My son was 17 when he died in a car accident. I understand how it feels to miss them. It’s been 31 years for me but I will always remember my angel boy. He was and still is a gift to my family.
Your testimony touched me deeply. You have such a pure and beautiful spirit. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings with me. God bless you sweet lady.
