Story
In Cured, Dr. Rediger digs down to the root causes of illness, showing how to create an environment that sets the stage for healing. He reveals the patterns behind healing and lays out the physical and mental principles associated with recovery: first, we need to physically heal our diet and our immune systems. Next, we need to mentally heal our stress response and our identities. Through rigorous research, Dr. Rediger shows that much of our physical reality is created in our minds. Our perception changes our experience, even to the point of changing our physical bodies.

Outstanding Book with a vision of hope for change in a our current broken system of medicine
Reviewed: 03-31-23
After more than 40 years in a traditional system of medicine and recognizing the many ways in which the system fails patients and those who care for the patients, this book was a breath of fresh air. It validated and enlightened so many of my own experiences and desires for change. As an immunologist, the content and observations resonated in a way that lifted my spirit and my hopes for a better future. Thank you Dr. Rediger for your valuable contribution to the larger story and for the personal gift of loving hope for a better future.

Good news but also tough love challenging each of us and all of us to transform - to embrace the truth and wisdom of faith, hope and Love in our lives and in our actions. What is real, what endures, who are we, who is our God? The life and teachings and examples of Jesus - the manifestations of Love in action give hope and peace despite the too frequent failures of organized religions to reflect the Path of Love and acknowledgement of the Universal Christ in the sacred Universe created by and given freely by our Loving God Energy. The Good news - we all belong and we all have the freedom to become a part of the Eternal Plan of Growth, Healing Change and Joyous Peace. Thanks be to God - our Father/Mother and Ultimate Healer. Thanks for this beautiful book.

Story
In this first volume in a three-part series, Richard Rohr develops aspects of transformation, a recurring theme in his popular presentations. Talk One: "Jesus: Forgiving Victim, Transforming Savior". If we imitate the way Jesus lived the role of victim, we will be able to live the Christian mystery. Jesus suffers freely but does not pass on the pain. He forgives, which destroys the death that confronts us. He says, “No one else is your problem. You are the locus of conversion and transformation.”
