As an avid Blood Angels and Flesh Tearers player I must say I was left wanting. It’s a solid enough story, but I think a third of this book is just the author wasting time describing the rage and violent thoughts of the FT’s. The two protagonists are likable enough. Only the most diehard fans of the Sons of Sanguinius should give this a listen. I will admit the fight scenes were beautifully detailed.

A MUST-own for every avid Star Wars audiobook listener

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The voice cast did a phenomenal job bringing to life the Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors from the Jedi Knight/Dark Forces games. Unlike most audiobooks where the narrator provides the voices for all characters, the creative team behind this production brought on a full ensemble cast for each character. Listening to the audiobook felt like I was actually watching a Star Wars movie. I would strongly recommend purchasing the Dark Forces series.
