Awesome narrator

This was a very good book. A little bit wordy in the middle but overall an interesting story. I will say that the narrator of this book was amazing. I was going between a 3 and a 4 star and the narration bumped it to 4.

Story
Tessa and Kristin Morgan are identical twins, exquisitely beautiful, and have the world at their perfectly pedicured feet; they are also profoundly different beneath their stunning facades. But, on the night of the pair’s debut as top-tier models, and with a high-profile movie role in the bag, tragedy strikes the twins in the form of a cruel acid attack by an unknown assailant. Thus, a gruesome chain of events begins—one that leaves a trail of blood, death, and devastation behind both Tessa and Kristin.

This was an interesting story. I just could not enjoy it because of the narration. I will never understand why authors use a male to narrate a book that is told from the viewpoint of a female. When the narrator used a higher voice for one female character it was almost comical. Would have been more enjoyable with a female narrator.

Story
Aaron Fortin is new in town. He drives a brand-new Acura—a gift from his parents for uprooting him in the middle of senior year. Showing up on his first day at the local public school in that nice of a car? He knows he’ll never blend in, and he doesn’t care to try. The car, the new-kid mystique, he can use all that.... Crystal Giordano carpools to the same school in her friend Trevor’s beat-up van. In the van along with Crystal and Trevor are Paul, Harmony, and Gayle. Crystal’s technically part of their misfit group, but most of the time, she feels like she’s the only one who doesn’t fit.

Story
Meghan, Brecia, and Skye have just one thing in common. They were all murdered by the same man. He hunted them online, masquerading as an eligible bachelor. Then he played the perfect gentleman, a thick layer of charm and a thousand-watt smile hiding the fact that his first dates end in shallow graves. He’s gotten away with murder three times now. The only thing that might keep him from killing again? The women he murdered. Meghan, Brecia, and Skye might be dead, but they’re not gone. They’ve found each other. The book was ok. I would have liked it to be darker but that's the kind of book I like.

The story was not bad but I could not listen to the narrator any longer. She did not sound natural and over pronounced her words. Sorry had to stop listening.
