Story
Leo, Hugh, Lily, Neha, and Andul are returning to Steelport to save Audrey, who has been captured by House Orsini, the first enemies of Leo's kingdom. Mavis Orsini is prepared to finish them off once and for all with the aid of Kruegar and his orc legions. Meanwhile, Ygg'drasil has opened its first portal to Ice Pines, a dimension of cold and storms. A great opportunity, but new enemies wait to take everything Leo has built from him, and he needs more allies and treasures if he wants to defend his realm.

Seemed whole book was stat page
Reviewed: 03-06-24
I have listened to the first two books and they were good. More of a filler in between the releases of other books but still enjoyable. This one however seemed that a quarter of the entire book was just listening to an exhaustively long stat page. The story and writing didn’t seem well developed, almost like it was just phoned in just to release something and the stats were there to just hit a minimum of words for a book. Take out the filler and it is a decent short story. Still confused as to why an American character has a British accent…

Story
After the latest mission of the starship Flying Dutchman, Earth is safe not just for a year, but for hundreds of years. The ship’s weary crew wonders what they will do with their lives in peacetime, but the enemy has other plans, and there is danger on the Homefront. Starring Zachary Quinto, R.C. Bray, Kate Mulgrew, Robert Picardo, and everyone's favorite AI, Skippy the Magnificent, alongside a full cast. Includes plenty of pew-pew-pew, original sound composition, and maybe some singing by R.C. Bray.

Confusing audio and bad voice acting
Reviewed: 02-06-24
I am thoroughly enjoying these books but was extremely disappointed in this one. Lots of extra noises and yells that were confusing as to what was going on and clouded the story. The dialogue and voice acting did not match the characters that were being portrayed. Elite forces around the world sounded like pissed off teenagers way over their heads. Not the cool and collected nature of such individuals. The worst of the issues was having a late age Lisa Renee Pitts voice a twenties Staff Sergeant Adams. The voice was completely out of place for the character, almost like an irreverent grandma got involved in events. In all the other books she is portrayed as one that is commanding and only needs to talk quietly to get even higher ranks to stop and pay attention. Also Smithe sounds like the sitcom alcoholic Sheriff of a small but dramatically active town. Wasn’t interested in the book until I found that I would be missing parts of the story without it. Just plain sad

The reading was extremely enjoyable. The book itself is very good, it came alive while listening.
