Story
Before Owen Michaels disappears, he smuggles a note to his beloved wife of one year: Protect her. Despite her confusion and fear, Hannah Hall knows exactly to whom the note refers—Owen’s sixteen-year-old daughter, Bailey. Bailey, who lost her mother tragically as a child. Bailey, who wants absolutely nothing to do with her new stepmother. As Hannah’s increasingly desperate calls to Owen go unanswered, as the FBI arrests Owen’s boss, as a US marshal and federal agents arrive at her Sausalito home unannounced, Hannah quickly realizes her husband isn’t who he said he was.

This was an okay listen! I didn't love it, but didn't hate it either! The narrator did a great job, I enjoyed listening to her. Based on all the reviews maybe I just had my expectations to high! The story did have some mystery and I was interested in what happened next, just not on the edge of my seat can't put it down kind of way!

Pretty good.

I enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator did a good job and she was easy to listen to. My complaint would be I immediately figured out who the bad guys were. However, even knowing that I still listened to figure out the 'How' questions and it kept me intrigued.
This would not be the first book I would recommend to someone as a must read, but I wouldn't cut it off the list!

loved everything about this book. it tied up all the loose ends, but left a little room for another if the writer decides. I was not crazy about the last book in the series, but don't let that stop you from listening/reading this one. you will be sad you missed it!!

He's in a coma now, and Lizzy is being forced to make a decision she might not be able to live with. But a string of deaths has forced her to get back to work. I enjoyed listening to this, however it was not my favorite in the series. Not crazy about the ending, but overall it was pretty good!
Like the other books in the series there is a lot going on with multiple mysteries to figure out. It deff. keeps you focused.
would not recommend reading without reading the first books prior!
I love the narrator, she does such a great job!
