Story
The Grand Hotel is a horror novel by esteemed best-selling author Scott Kenemore ( Zombie, Ohio) that takes the reader on a thrilling ride through an interconnected series of stories narrated by the desk clerk and the residents of the hotel itself. And while it is not known whether or not the desk clerk is actually the devil incarnate, it is strange that so many visitors who come for a tour of the hotel have a way of never leaving.

Story
In 1972, Jeff Rice's novel The Night Stalker introduced Carl Kolchak to the world. This spine-tingling novel of supernatural terror became an instant best seller and served as the basis for the film of the same name. After The Night Stalker became one of the highest rated television movies of all time, a sequel, The Night Strangler, was released the following year to great acclaim. Now, after more than three decades out of print, The Night Stalker and The Night Strangler are together in one volume.

Very enjoyable listen. The stories remind me of the 70’s TV show but with more depth. The last take is my favorite as it is new to me. If you watched the Night Stalker as a kid this listen is for you.

Fantastic story and great bonus ending
Reviewed: 05-04-24
If you are not familiar with the Cabal series then you are in for a treat. Excellent storytelling and a great bonus ending. I don’t like to give away the plot in reviews so suffice to say if you enjoy mystery wrapped in the macarb this book will keep you engaged from start to finish. Cabal is a unique blend of Sherlock Holmes, Indiana Jones and serial sociopath that leaves a reader both fascinated and perplexed. If you’re looking for something a little bit off the beaten path then this is definitely the place to be.

Through hard work and, well, tenacity, Jack Black and Kyle Gass catapulted themselves into rock superstardom. But before they were the only two members of the best rock band on earth, they were just Jack and Kyle, two theater students finding their footing in Los Angeles. The D’s trajectory was a slow and steady rise from clubs to a guest spot on the hit show Mr. Show on HBO to albums to film to headlining festivals across the globe. But it wasn’t without its pains. This is their story. These are their Words + Music.

After finishing book much to my surprise I stumbled into the story again on Amazon video! It had been made into a great series called the Expanse. Talk about a win win!

Mr Brick delivers as always
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Already done
Any additional comments?
the book is soooo much more than the movie
