You got me singing Leonard Cohen, thank you for the peep into your soul! AND in your own voice. The paperback is useless in comparison to your own voice. Im forever thankful that there is no limit on how many times I can listen to this book.

Story
A memoir of the author's decades-long friendship and spiritual journey with the late singer, songwriter, novelist, and poet Leonard Cohen. Funny, revealing, self-aware, and deeply moving, Matters of Vital Interest is an insightful memoir about Eric Lerner's relationship with his friend, whose idiosyncratic style and dignified life was deeply informed by his spiritual practices.

Story
As a hospice chaplain, Kerry Egan didn't offer sermons or prayers unless they were requested; in fact, she found, the dying rarely want to talk about God, at least not overtly. Instead she discovered she'd been granted an invaluable chance to witness firsthand what she calls the "spiritual work of dying" - the work of finding or making meaning of one's life, the experiences it's contained, and the people who have touched it, the betrayals, wounds, unfinished business, and unrealized dreams.

If you don't listen to this book, you're missing a lot of endearment and wisdom.
Now I will be forever a gray person, my mission is never to judge again.

I am in love with Leonard Cohen‼
His brilliant mind, soul searching, kindness, songs, apathy towards money, everything about him.
I've enjoyed the book, learning more about the shy genius. I would have loved if there was more about his personal life.
