Story
Jackson “The Beast” Boudreaux is rich, gorgeous, and unbelievably rude to the staff at Chef Bianca Hardwick’s New Orleans restaurant. Bianca would sooner douse herself in hot sauce than cook for Jackson again, but when he asks her to cater his fund-raiser, Bianca can’t refuse, knowing the cash will help pay her mother’s medical bills.

Good book, awful voice for Bianca
Reviewed: 06-15-22
I liked the book to read, but the narrator’s voice does not complement the character. The narrator sounds like she is a 50 year old with a bad cajun accent. She sounds like she could be Bianca’s mother or grandmother instead of Bianca. I listened to the book only when I had too. Almost deleted due to the narrator’s voice for Bianca.

Story
My brother is an idiot - he’s getting married. And I’m in charge of getting things together since our folks are gone. Lucky me. The guy who thinks love is for the birds and worn-out '80s songs. I honestly don’t have time for this drama. I run a billion-dollar company, have women to entertain, and am working on my plans to rule the world. No, seriously.

Book was good

I read and listen to a book. The book was good. Relaxing. But they people in the book live in New York and the narrator had an English accent. That in itself did not go with the book. The male character was supposed to be rough and gruff but the narrator’s voice did not betray the gruffness.
