Story
Before he was the Gray Man, Court Gentry was Sierra Six, the junior member of a CIA action team. In their first mission, they took out a terrorist leader, at a terrible price. Years have passed. The Gray Man is on a simple mission when he sees a ghost: the long-dead terrorist, but he's remarkably energetic for a dead man. A decade of time hasn't changed the Gray Man. He isn't one to leave a job unfinished or a blood debt unpaid.

I literally can’t believe how good this book was. There were basically two simultaneous stories going, and they were melted together perfectly.

The writing style is slightly different than the prior gray man books. Makes me wonder if there was a shadow writer helping. That said, it’s a page Turner and almost as good as all of his others. I definitely still recommend.

I have loved all of the hawke novels. This one has a different feel with some cheesy characters and cheesy language. Still a decent story, but not nearly as good as all of the preceding novels.

So why are they on such high alert? Court's high stakes hunt for answers takes him across Southeast Asia and leads to his old friend, Donald Fitzroy, who is being held hostage by the Chinese.
