Could be a great movie or show
Reviewed: 12-18-24
The thing I love most about this book and the series is the characters and their interactions and relationships to each other. The narrator really brings them to life in their own unique ways. The continuation of the story is great and the set up for the next one has gotten me truely excited. I usually take a couple weeks to finish an audio book, but with this and the first one I’ve been listening any quiet chance I get.

Story
Five years ago, the US Space Force became a reality. And while those writing the checks took things very seriously, the other military branches did not. As a result, Space Force was populated by undesirables. My name is Captain Ethan Stone, a decorated member of SEAL Team Six turned Space Force "recruit". Flash forward five years and between tenses. President West is in office. Power has shifted. And Space Force is defunded. With just a handful of us still living on base, we find ourselves being evicted. But before all of us can leave, aliens invade.

In the heart of the South Pacific lies Point Nemo, the most desolate and remote place on Earth. At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned. Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist.

In general a great audio book for Spider-Man fans. Some of the stories were better than others but no real misses. Most of the stories seemed to have to do with “human” or psychological problems. The first story or origin was the best. The last 2 finished strong with the last actually pulling in lots of emotion.

Almost like Terminator vs Terminator 2. First was very story driven and almost played like a horror movie. The second was filled with action and very over the top. I like the First book cause it was more nostalgic and really focused on Easter eggs, but the Second was just as exciting to listen to and building the world perfectly.

Story
For the handful of scattered Jedi, survival is imperative if the light side of the Force is to be protected and the galaxy somehow, someday reclaimed. Yet more important still is the well-being of the twin infants, Leia and Luke Skywalker, the children of Anakin and his doomed bride, Padme Amidala. Separated after Padme's death, they must be made safe at all costs, lest the hope they represent for the future be turned to horror by the new Sith regime, and the unspeakable power of the dark side.

Exactly what you would expect from episode 3.5
Reviewed: 07-07-20
Want to know what happens immediately after episode 3? Look no further than Star Wars Dark Lord Vader Rising. Small groups of Jedi surviving after order 66, pieces of Anakin still inside of Vader, space and land battles, familiar characters in roles that don’t change their history in the films.
This is a must for any Star Wars, Darth Vader or Jedi Order fans.
Funny enough the epilogue was one of my favorite parts. While not connected to the challanges of the main characters, it connects the prequels to the original with a very beloved character and his “reconnection” with his master.
