Story
Kaylee Sloan’s home in Southern California is full of wonderful memories of the woman who raised her. But the memories are prolonging her grief over her mother’s recent death. A successful author, Kaylee hoped she could pour herself into her work. Instead she has terrible writer’s block and a looming deadline.

Oh, how I loved visiting Virgin River again! This is the most heartfelt series I've ever read. The characters are all brought to life so incredibly well! Ms. Carr just has a way of drawing you into the story Anne making you feel like you live there with all your best friends around you.
All of her books are a lovely retreat for me, but I have to say I'm especially partial to the Virgin River series, and now I can see it come alive on Netflix!
I hope that you let us visit Virgin River in new books now and then, Ms. Carr. I so very highly recommend this book, as well as the entire series. Ms. Carr does not disappoint!

I love Robyn Carr!! I've read this entire series and it's wonderful! This one touched me so much. I laughed and cried and hated for the book to end. Once read more than just this series by Ms. Carr. In every single one of her books, she draws you in, not only to the storyline, but to the characters themselves. You feel what they feel, you think about their reactions to things and just know, most times, that you would react the same. A few times you might feel like jerking the character out of the pages and giving them a slap and saying "really? you really want to so this?". This series is awesome. I can't say it enough. I sincerely hope Ms. Carr adds to this series in the not too distant future! I so highly recommend this series and this particular book of course. If you like romance, drama, laughter our just darn great reads, then this book is for you! Hurry, buy it! Buy all 9 books! I promise, you will not be disappointed!

This story was a pleasure to listen to. Ms. Hale does a great job of fleshing out her characters, so you feel as if you not only know them, but understand them. Her descriptions of the huge old house and the Christmas decorations and celebrations made me want to snuggle by a fire and drink hot cocoa with a candy cane to stir it! Feeling a part of the holiday celebrations and the characters lives is a huge plus for me while listening to this book! I absolutely loved it and very highly recommend it!

Story
Sheriff Spencer Riley and his mother recently ordered his big brother Clayton a mail order bride for Christmas! Too bad neither one of them bothered to tell Clayton, so imagine his surprise, and Spencer thought it to be one of the funniest things ever...until it happened to him! "After all," his mother told him. "If Clayton can have a mail order bride for Christmas, why can't you have one for New Year's?" So much for the annual scarf and mitten set she usually got for him this time of year!

Excellent sweet series!

This is my second book in this series and I just love it! The narrator is really good, even with the voices of the women. The stories are sweet, which I prefer, so no premarital sex here. Faith is unashamedly mentioned and the characters are all fleshed out enough that you feel as if you know them. The stories are interesting and I really like like that they take place in the same location so you don't lose track of the folks you read about in the preceding book, and hopefully books, as I intend to listen to them all. Welcome to my list of favorite authors of romance, Ms. Kit Morgan! Highly recommend this author and this series!

Susie did something that she knows she will always regret: giving her baby son up for adoption, to keep her infidelity secret from her family. Louise, Susie's daughter, feels the effects of that decision echoing down through the years - her mother has always been difficult, too strict with her but not strict enough with her sister, Grace, who is wild and out of control. And Danny, Susie's husband, adores her but has always sensed something wrong at the heart of their marriage.

Absolutely loved this book! The narrator was so good. The story beautiful. As the mother of an adopted daughter, I truly sympathized with the son wanting to find his biological mother. I also have 2 biological children, a son and a daughter. The family dynamics in such situations can be joyful, harrowing, stressful and sometimes downright ugly. The author captured all of this and more brilliantly. Highly recommend!
