Story
Thomas and Tasmin, twin siblings hired to oversee a wedding feast in Cana, worry when the host runs out of wine...until a guest tells Tasmin to have the servants fill the pitchers by the gate with water from the cistern. Reluctantly, she obeys and is amazed when rainwater turns into the finest wine ever tasted in Cana. When Thomas impulsively decides to follow the teacher from Nazareth, he and Tasmin argue - since the twins have been together since the womb, Tasmin can't accept losing her brother to some magician-prophet.

Not accurate to the story of the Bible
Reviewed: 03-15-23
The biblical story was so mixed. It does not follow the biblical account. It makes jesus whole mission last a week instead of three years. Even the flow of the early story of Jesus is wrong.

After being branded during the battle of Jericho, Moriyah has had no prospects for marriage - until now. She hopes to please the man, but things go horribly wrong and she is forced to flee for her life. Seeking safety at one of the Levitical cities of refuge, she is unprepared for the dangers she faces, and the enemies - and allies - she encounters on her way. Seven years ago, Moriyah was taken captive in Jericho and branded with the mark of the Canaanite gods. Now the Israelites are experiencing peace in their new land, but Moriyah has yet to find her own peace. Because of the shameful mark on her face, she hides behind her veil at all times.

Story good, but narrator not so much

I really like this author but using this narrator to tell the story makes it a difficult listen. How she say Yahweh always makes me want to laugh.

The story was drawn out longer than needed and the ending was interesting. i wished the author stayed true to Austen and spent more time on what happens after the wedding. it was so drawn out i was getting angry. would no listen again

Story
When Elizabeth Bennet first knew Mr. Darcy, she despised him and was sure he felt the same. Angered by his pride and reserve, influenced by the lies of the charming Mr. Wickham, she never troubled herself to believe he was anything other than the worst of men - until, one day, he unexpectedly proposed. Mr. Darcy's passionate avowal of love causes Elizabeth to reevaluate everything she thought she knew about him.

Want More

Loved the story and its reading, really wish this author would write more diction. Most of the other stories by other Austen authors have too much sex, and not enough quality.
